The Kentucky Railway Museum was established in 1957 by a group of dedicated Louisville-area railway enthusiasts anxious to preserve fast disappearing items and equipment from the railroad and rail transportation scene. The Museum's location, a 5-acre site on River Road donated by the City of Louisville, has provided a wonderful haven for the growing collection of locomotives, cars and other transport treasures.

In addition to the benefactors who have made permanent donations to the Museum, several railroads have displayed historic or unusual pieces of equipment at the Museum. In the 1960, the New York Central exhibited its record-breaking speedster, Old 999, within Museum Grounds.

This booklet is perfect for the Railroad History Collector.
