The Blue Boy, was painted by Thomas Gainsborough around 1770. His clothing is from an earlier period in tribute to artist Sir Anthony Van Dyck (1599-1641).
Often paired with "Pinkie" but they were painted by two different artists and were not intended to be shown as a pair.
