The pan flutes (also known as panpipes or syrinx) are a group of musical instruments based on the principle of the closed tube, consisting of multiple pipes of gradually increasing length (and occasionally girth). ... The pipes are typically made from bamboo, giant cane, or local reeds.
How do you blow pan pipes?
To form your embouchure, first make a slight smile and purse your lips a bit. Make a small opening between your lips. Position the pan flute against your bottom lip and direct air into the pipe's tube, just like you would if you blew into a bottle.
